Verde Edge wishes to recruit a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, an established Kenyan SME, a key distributor of food processing and bakery equipment in East & Central Africa.
Key objective/Purpose of the Job.
Expand the company’s clientele by creating an effective sales strategy and driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focussed on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients to promote the company products
- Prepare sales contracts as per company guidelines
- Deliver the sales targets, keep records of sales, revenue etc
- Provide trutworthy feedback and after sales support
- Build longterm relationships with new and exsisting customers
- Develop entry level staff into valuable sales professionals
Required Skills & qualifications
- Proven working experience in sales and track record as a business development manager or sales executive who delivers targets
- Experience in customer support and raport building
- Proficency in MS Office and CRM software
- Self driven with good market knowledge
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Great time management and planning skills
- BA/BSC in business administration, sales & Marketing or any relevant field of study
