Job Title: Sales Executive

Salary: KES 30,000 – 35,000

We provide safe, sustainable sanitation services to residents living in urban informal settlements of Nairobi, Eldoret and Kisumu using end-to-end non-sewered sanitation solutions. We do this by franchising our toilets to the communities we support through our service delivery model.

Our franchise network is growing quickly and we are looking for diligent Sales Executives to find new leads, acquire new customers, ensure we retain all customers and support the customer life cycle in their assigned area.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Meet established sales targets, goals and quotas within the assigned territory.
  • Generate new leads every month.
  • Ensure that 80% of the new leads generated are converted.
  • Ensure 100% retention of the new customers’ month-on-month.
  1. Market & Customer Expansion
  • Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned sales area.
  • Mapping and data collection to enable validation of a specific market territory.
  • Maintain contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Keep clear records of customer details in alignment with our client processes to ensure adherence.
  1. Support and operations
  • Report any operational issues within their sales area.
  • Execute sales support processes to expedite the conversion of sales (FLR, issue GR forms, training, lease agreement signing).
  • Ensure 100% FLRs are conducted accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma/ Degree in any related field of study
  • Demonstrated capacity to convince customers to purchase and demonstrable experience in handling multiple customer demands
  • Comfortable to work in informal settlements of Nairobi e.g. Mukuru kwa njenga, kwa reuben, Kibra, Korogocho, etc.
  • Above average communication skills and interpretation skills (English and Swahili required)
  • Good interpersonal skills, attentive to detail, and strong problem solving.
  • Flexible and adaptable, ability to perform tasks without repeated instructions, demonstrate sound work ethics.
