Quantity Surveyor BUC Scale 10(1 Post)

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of tender/contract procedures which entails preparation of Bills of Quantities
  • Preparations of specifications;
  • Working on cost Estimates for Projects
  • planning and analysis, valuation, site measurements and preparation of final accounts.

Qualifications

  • Must have Bachelor degree in Quantity Survey or Building Economics or its equivalent
  • Must have score C (Plain) in KCSE
  • Be registered by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya
  • Be a member of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK); with good standing
  • Must have worked for a large firm or Government for a minimum of three (3) years since being registered by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya
  •  Must demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and work results while working with the last employer.

All applicants must satisfy the Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya by getting clearances from the following bodies: Higher Education Loans Board (HELB); Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA); Credit Reference Bureau (CRB); Commission for University Education (CUE); and Current Certificate of Good Conduct from the National Police Service (NPS).
