Basic Salary Scale:Ksh. 25,470 33,950 p.m. (CSG 12)

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • a Diploma in Printing Technology from-a recognized institution.
  • OR City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate in Printing from a recognized institution.

Duties and responsibilities;

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:

  • up-dating of production chart-boards;
  • posting direct operational hours to cost cards;
  • copy holding; exposing line work; processing films and plates;
  • maintaining machinery and equipment;
  • filing and recording plates, films and artworks;
  • opaqueing films; preservation of plates;
  • operating A4 and A3 printing machines;
  • hand folding printed documents; and
  • counting and packing parcels of finished goods
