Operations Manager (Kiserian) Job, Current Administration Jobs Kenya,

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Degree in Business Management / Agribusiness Management or any other equivalent qualification.
  • Financial acumen i.e CPA or any other Finance / Accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills.
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
  • Have the necessary planning and organisational skills to achieve the targets and carry out company policies as applicable.
  • Be self-motivated and able to communicate effectively at all levels both within and outside the company.
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities;

  • Coordinating the preparation of Company overall budget and establishing a budgetary control system geared towards realization of the performance targets set for all departments.
  • Reviewing the company’s performance vis-à-vis budgeted performance and updating the directors on the same.
  • Ensuring that the business profitably run, and the Company realizes planned rate of return on investment.
  • Coordinating operations of all company’s activities and overseeing all departments.
  • Assist in formulation, implementation and review of the company’s corporate plans and strategies.
  • Effectively promote a positive image of the Company-Public relations with suppliers and creditors.
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost effective way.
  • Chairing management policy and performance review meetings.
  • Advising the management on the strategies to adopt to move the company towards the desired operational outcomes.
  • Liaise with accounting department in preparation of sales, costs, and other forecasts necessary for establishment of the company standards and budgets.
  • Liaise with the accountant in establishing a strong internal control system and auditing function and oversee its implementation.
  • Overseeing the preparation of timely and accurate operational reports and distributing to appropriate users.
  • Ensuring establishment of efficient and effective distribution network and delivery systems.
