 The County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill in the following positions;

 SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT OFFICER 1 JOB GROUP ‘K’ (6 POSTS) VACANCY NO. CPSB-9/2021/KCPSB

Duties and responsibilities

• Preparation and management of all documentation of procurement files
• Prepare local purchase orders, local service orders for approval by the Chief Officer
• Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications
• Track the status and file movement registers between Departments, from requisitions, contracts and deliveries
• Prepare standard tender documents/invitation to tender forms, for review and approval by the user Departments
• Prepare and continuously update and maintain a weekly status report of the goods, works and services that have been procured within the Department
• Processing of cases for tender committees and assisting in implementation of decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain/Logistics, B.Com Procurement Option from a recognized Institution or
• Served in the grade of Supply Chain Officer 11, or in a comparable and relevant position, for a minimum period of three (3) years
• Must be a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or its equivalent
• Must comply with Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Ethics and values by forwarding valid credentials;

        Certificate of Good conduct

       Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance

       Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Clearance

       Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate

        Birth Certificate
