We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Bancassurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Bancassurance Manager Operations Officer within Jubilee Health Insurance will be based at Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose

The job holder the role holder will be responsible for Bancassurance Operational efficiency to ensure achievement of set Service level agreements (SLAs), Turn Around Times (TATs) with departments, sections and bancassurance intermediaries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless execution of day-to-day bancassurance operation in onboarding of new business and renewals
  • Ensure all reports relating to Bancassurance department are done accurately and timely
  • Ensure all policy documents are dispatched to clients and confirmation received.
  • Organize and manage the training calendar for bancassurance Sales officers
  • Champion the delivery of consistent, seamless, and trusted customer service to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
  • Maintain a consistent record of pipeline for banks and BSO’s
  • Ensure all onboarding and marketing materials are timely done as per the agreed requirements.
  • Ensure TATS on Cards and Quotes, Claims, Renewal invites, and issuance of terms and reimbursements are observed, and timely report prepared and shared
  • Ensuring efficient resolution to service-related issues brought to your attention and escalate to the Assistant Manager-Bancassurance
  • Ensure compliance to Jubilee Insurance and the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding of partners and all compliance documents are provided as required
  • Liaise with banks and BPU to ensure all bancassurance business is booked as per instructions and any outstanding issues are handled within TATs
  • Ensuring Schemes in the bancassurance portfolio have complied and all documents filled, and relevant checks are done as per the underwriting and compliance policy.
  • Ensure customer enquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures.
  • Keep a record of client’s admissions, declines and other reports and keep partners updates
  • Keep updated records of bancassurance internal and external meetings with partners
  • Any other duties and roles as may be assigned from time to time by the Assistant Manager

Qualifications

  • University Degree from an institution recognized by the Commission for Higher Education
  • AIIK Diploma / BCOM (Insurance), BSC (Actuarial Science)/ CII Diploma or any insurance related qualification is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of health insurance will be an added advantage

Relevant Experience

At least 3 years’ experience in the underwriting, analysis, or sales of health insurance products preferably within an insurance intermediary or Insurance Company.
