Reporting to: Internal Auditor
Location: Nairobi
Description
The major role of the Data Analyst will be to plan effective ways to streamline various processes and collect, review reports from their assigned departments for auditing purpose and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct problems.
- Prepare and present reports for Audit
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain records
- Identify loopholes and variances in reports from other departments
- Any other tasks and duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Degree in business administration or any relevant field
- No experience required
- Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data and numbers
- Exceptional mathematical skills to verify entries
- Good critical-thinking skills to gather all of the available data and make informed decisions
- Excellent research skills to find all related information needed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
