Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and administer appropriate staff retention strategies.
  • Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
  • Perform staffing duties, including job analysis, evaluation, specification and description
  • Develop a succession plan through nurturing and developing employees from within for future
  • Recruitment, orientation and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting policies, and resolving work related problems and grievances conflict resolution as well as change management.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal and recommend needed changes.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
  • Prepare motivational plans for the staff such as retreats, meetings and team building activities.
  • In collaboration with supervisors,plan,direct,supervise,monitor and coordinate work activities of all staffs to ensure staff effective services delivery as well as proper use and maintenance of all programme working tools and assets.
  • Maintain records and compile tactical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, leavers, reshuffles, performance appraisals, trainings and absenteeism.
  • Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organizations personnel policies and practices.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination/feedback to management.
  • Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs.
  • Prepare and share individual performance reports, monthly work plans and program reports with the coordinator every month.
  • Overseeing employment terminations, layoff and resignations processes and documentation as per the labor laws.
  • Partipating in staff education, updating and maintaining HR professional education/skills
  • Implementation and management of a computerized HR system
  • Handling attachment students and volunteers.
  • Demonstrating a total commitment to Total Quality Management and Quality Assurance by participating in the organization multidisciplinary committees.
