Responsibilities

Train and develop the workforce by

  • Ensuring Company membership with NITA is up to date
  • Preparing annual training program
  • Liaison with the trainers and organizing training venues if need be
  • Organizing trainings for all employees
  • Occasionally training employees on labor related matters and collective bargaining

In charge of Company Industrial Relations – labor relations and collective bargaining in the following manner

  • Representing the organization in the CBA negotiations
  • Sitting in the workers committee as management representative
  • Handling employee-employee disputes
  • Handling employee-employer disputes

Guarantee employee fair treatment

  • Manage job separation such as terminations, dismissal and resignations
  • Sitting in the women workers committee
  • Building two way communication in the organization so as to maintain healthy interpersonal relationship in the organization

Staff recruitment, orientation, placement and retention

  • Preparing employment contracts in accordance with the prevailing law
  • Liaising with recruitment and advertising agencies to fill vacant positions
  • Building employee commitment
  • Organizing and interviewing candidates for vacant positions
  • Informing the management on vacant positions

Coordinating flower label audits and standards conformity and keeping records of the same

Managing and assisting departmental heads on planning for annual leaves, maternity leaves and partial leaves for employees in their department

Ensuring all employees have reported to work and if absent establish the reason of absence and handle the matter accordingly

Ensure efficient recruitment and selection of suitable & sufficient staff to meet vacancies identified by the departmental heads.

Maintaining employee discipline and attending to disciplinary cases within the farm and advising the management on the decision to take

In charge of Staff welfare

  • Employee safety and health issues
  • Chairing workers welfare committee
  • Workmen compensation

Qualifications

  • Qualification:- Minimum Degree/ Diploma in Human Resources & Management
  • Experience:   Minimum 6 Years in the same field
  • Personal Qualities: Analytical, creative, hardworking, pleasant personality with excellent communication and inter personal skills.
