BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE – FREIGHT FORWARDING
Our client, a freight forwarding company is currently looking to hire a Sales Executive / Senior Sales executive in their Freight Forwarding Division.
· Research & understand prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads & follow through to successful agreements;
· Manage the selling process to external customers, including pricing contract negotiations & service level agreements.
· Pro-actively search, qualify, develop & engage into new customer relationships.
· Identify account needs, opportunities & key buying factors for existing customers & formalize those into account plans & strategies.
· Source for business from companies via cold calling, emailing & face to face meetings;
· Compile proposals, rate cards & contracts & share with clients within agreed timelines;
· Create, share quotations with clients & follow up on payments when due;
· Update and present the weekly, monthly & quarterly internal reports
· Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
· Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a relevant field
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in freight & logistics sales
· Proven track record of good performance in sales
· Deep understanding of sales & marketing principles & negotiating techniques
