Our client, a company in the printing industry, are looking to fill the role of a Sales Account Manager with similar experience in the printing sector.  As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. You should be able to grow the business by building successful, long-term client relationships. The jobholder will drive business in the company to realize profits.


  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Monitor competitors behavioral patterns
  • Keenly monitor key performance indicators for each person in the sales meet
  • Proactively promote the company’s brand and act as the company’s brand ambassador
  • Continuously visit markets to bring new clients and strengthen ties with customers


  • Sales achieved vs target sales – Monthly sales achievement over a specific period vis a vis target allocated
  • Prospecting – proactively identify and qualify potential customers by developing contacts using referrals and pursuing leads
  • Customer engagement and retention
  • Reporting – quality and accurate reports to inform on the average sales performance
  • Market awareness – accurately understand market trends and analyze customer needs


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales & Marketing in a printing company
  • Pleasant personality, strong presentation skills, excellent managerial skills (planning & budgeting, organizing, controlling, etc.)
  • Decision making & problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Team player
  • Ability to build strong and long-lasting profitable relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and disciplined
  • Must be aggressive, proactive and have a strong business acumen
  • Strong decision making skills, loyalty to brand & Collaborative skills
