Clerical Officer Job Responsibilities

  • Collect mail regularly, sort and distribute as appropriate
  • Provide reception services including receiving visitors, responding to inquiries, taking messages and maintaining working area
  • Undertake general administrative duties like photocopying, data input, filing and retrieval
  • Provide returns and reports
  • Maintain familiarity with current computer system operations and input relevant patient data

Requirements for the Clerical Officer Job

  • KCSE Certificate or equivalent
  • Have a proficiency certificate in computer applications
  • Two year experience in a health services setting
