Freight & Forwarding & Logistics Sales Executive Job, Latest Sales & Marketing Job,

Our client global freight forwarding and logistics company is currently looking to hire a Sales Executive, someone of Asian origin and a local Kenyan resident.


  • Research and understand prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to successful agreements;
  • Manage the selling process to external customers, including pricing contract negotiations and service level agreements.
  • Pro-actively search, qualify, develop and engage into new customer relationships.
  • Identify account needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers, and formalize those into account plans and strategies.
  • Source for business from companies via cold calling, emailing and face to face meetings;
  • Compile proposals, rate cards and contracts and share with clients within agreed timelines;
  • Create and share quotations with clients;
  • Follow up on payments when due;
  • Update and present the weekly, monthly and quarterly internal reports;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.


  • Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience selling FCL / LCL Imports, Customs Clearance, Air Imports / Exports, Inland Transit Cargo
  • Proven track record of good performance in Sales
  • Proactive and result oriented.
  • Deep understanding of sales & marketing principles and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
