Our client a leading marketing agency is currently looking to hire Community & Content Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying the target audience for a particular campaign and deciding how best to communicate to that audience;
  • Creating monthly content calendars across all SNS platforms and functional web;
  • Interact with customers to align unselfish service of their needs, with each of their brand’s corporate objectives;
  • Be the eyes and ears of the company’s brands as if the company’s own reputation depended on it;
  • Build and maintain brand content distribution networks by way of social media channels;
  • Minute by minute participation in conversations that surround your content and brands, answer comments, be a mediator;
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the company’s brand, report to appropriate parties;
  • Interact with legal, search, client and cross corporate departments within the agency;
  • Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites;
  • Schedule content where necessary
  • Participate in social media, as yourself and white hat avatars, on behalf of the company;
  • Create and update reports where necessary;
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns;
  • Managing the company’s interactive’s online presence;
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associates degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related;
  • At least 3 years work experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field;
  • Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to crank editorial and technical writing output without brooding;
  • Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media;
  • Demonstrated ability to map out a marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics;
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing;
  • Management experience or obviously ready for promotion to management;
  • Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content;
  • Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
  • Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment;
