Business Development Officer Job, Latest Kenyan Sales & Marketing Vacancies,

Our client an on-demand service company offering motor vehicle valuation, assessment, and inspection services, is currently looking to hire a Business Development Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Work through insurance companies, their staff, and their intermediaries to drive more valuations to the company rather than from existing providers
  • Achieve set sales targets and increase the overall market share of the assigned portfolios
  • Assist the directors with prospecting and pursuing of potential channel partners especially by providing information on the company solutions and following up leads generated by the directors and other staff members
  • Develop new business strategies for customer acquisition
  • Identify growth opportunity areas and business dealers to strengthen the business
  • Prepare and submit activity reports: daily call reports, weekly/monthly work plans and annual analysis updates
  • Gather market intelligence reports and share with management team
  • Customer retention strategies through developing the existing customer base, continuous relationship building and customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Any other duty assigned

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in a Business related course
  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales and business development experience in a B2B setting, where creating and maintain business relationships was key
  • Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing teams would be an added advantage
