Our client is a leading trusted provider of housing solutions in Kenya and they are seeking to hire a highly competent accountant who will be ensuring company compliance with accounting standards and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Timely preparation of all financial reports – Profit and loss, cash flow statement, Balance sheet.
  • Collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounts information
  • Recording and maintaining the accounting transactions
  • Filing monthly VAT returns
  • Accounts reconciliation
  • Payroll administration
  • Proper filing of accounting documents
  • Preparing and submitting financial reports including weekly, monthly operating reports, financial statements, audit reports, inventory, and capital purchases.
  • Ensuring the transparency and efficiency of the organizations financial operations and to safeguard compliance with reporting guidelines.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and CPA (K)
  • At least 4 years work experience in accounting
  • Experience in procurement is an added advantage
  • Tally proficient
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commercially savvy
  • Problem-solving, Analytical and Organizational Skills
  • Age between 28-40 years
